FindOnAMap (FOAM) is a new, free, website aimed at tracking and logging the position of family and friends by simply locating their mobile phones. Just install a free piece of software onto your phone and then family and friends will be able to find you through the website. It really is that simple!

How Does It All Work?

The process of locating a friend or a member of your family is simple. Simply do the following:

Mobile User:

1. Download the software and install onto your mobile phone.
2. Run the software. The application will automatically upload your position to the website at a set interval (can be defined by the user).
3. The device id will be shown on the mobile phone. This can then be given to anyone wishing to know your whereabouts via this website.

Web user:

1. Register with FindOnAMap.com
2. Obtain the device id from the mobile user and add to your profile.
3. Select the device id of the user that you want to locate from your profile.
4. A map showing a history of the user's whereabouts will be shown.

Go to Tools -> App. Manager, choose Options -> Settings and set Software installation to All and Online certif. check to Off.
